WASEDA UNIVERSITY BUILDING 11

Outline
Reconstruction of the existing school building which houses the School of Commerce and the School of International Liberal Studies. The existing composition and style were interpreted and redefined, such as aligning the lower levels with the adjacent school building and creating a three-story structure. The exterior walls of the low-rise and the core on the left hand side of the building are made of hand-made scratch tiles that are cast in PC plates to create a shaded texture. The escalator is the main line of flow for students.
