VENICE BIENNALE: 11TH INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE EXHIBITION 2008 JAPAN PAVILION

A project for the Japanese Pavilion at the 11th Biennale of Architecture in Venice, Italy. Four greenhouses made of thin steel columns and thin glass panels are placed in the forecourt. They create a space that makes use of the shadows of the environment. The commissioner is Igarashi Taro, and the botanist Oba Hideaki.
