The special exhibition room "Kankai-an", the storage room, and the curator's office were added to the "Hara Museum ARC" (this magazine 9001), which was completed in 1989. The "Kankai-an" exhibition room consists of a nested shoin space modeled after the kagakuden of Mitsui-ji Temple (Sonjo-ji Temple).
