HYŪGASHI STATION

Outline
The station building took about 10 years to complete. The large roof of the platform is supported by beams made of local cedar laminated wood with a curved cross-section. The east and west sides of the town are connected through the concourse under the platform. Street furniture made of local cedar is placed in the plaza in front of the station on the east and west sides.
