Haniyasu House

- A 60-year-old one-story wooden house was renovated into a studio and residence for two families. A rounded volume like a kamakura was added to the four corners of the existing structure. The walls are plastered using soil from the site and ceramic shavings. Six layers of plastering were applied using different mixes of materials to blend in with the surrounding landscape.
