- The house is built on a site sloping 30 degrees to the southeast. A large 3" pitched roof is built along the slope, and an L-shaped balcony is built along the overhanging roof on the southeast side. The exterior walls are clapboarded with larch. When the sash facing the balcony is retracted, the interior and exterior are seamlessly connected.
