Outline: This is the designer's own residence and studio, where he also works as a farmer. The roof is single-sloped with an 8" slope, and a portion of the splash-out above the entrance is notched in an arc. The foyer on the second floor facing the atrium and the earthen floor on the first floor are not visually connected, but are connected by sound and smell, creating a contrast in shading and materials between the upper and lower floors.
