House in Nakano
Hiroyuki Oinuma Architect & Associates
- Outline
- The designer's own residence and office in a densely built-up residential area on three sides except for the north side. A "decorative garden," a terrace that bypasses the shadow of the building in the air, was created, planted with trees, and a large window was opened on the north side of the second floor. Inside, a skipped floor secures the line of sight to the back garden, and a curtain divides one room space to flexibly adjust the sense of distance between the residents.
