Outline: The designer's own residence and office at the foot of a mountain. It is a large building with a shared garden. The office portion follows the structure of the previous "Wakaoji Atelier" (1999). Three studios are set around a large atrium space used as a dining room and meeting space. The residential part of the building has a highly mobile layout, with the main rooms on the office side and the water circulation area on the southwest side; the first floor contains the rooms necessary for daily life, and the second floor contains spare rooms.
