Two-family House in Zushi

Outline
A two-family house for the designer's parents and aunt. In order to preserve the existing trees and well, two rectangular wings were built on the east side of the site, with a common dirt floor between them. The approach to the earthen floor is through the trees, and a fence and benches are placed in the front yard. The sense of distance and the domain of each changes with the opening and closing of the fittings between the vestibule and the earthen floor, and between the earthen floor and the dwelling unit.
