Outline: Renovation of a building completed in 1979 and operated as a study classroom until 2011. The first phase of the project involved the renovation of one room on the second floor as the designer's own residence. The south-facing opening is composed of three layers of wooden hanging walls, interior windows, and honeycomb screens, each of which opens and closes to regulate solar radiation, temperature, humidity, and sight lines. The ceiling was covered with translucent twin carbo at the same height as the existing one.
