House in Kitanekuromatsu

Outline: This stilt house is built on a site sandwiched between a main road and a riverbed, and is raised up by the use of cane columns and earthquake-proof cores. The road and the river are two different environments, and the columns and earthquake-resistant core form a gentle boundary between the two. A pilotis space with a highly compatible use was created for each.
