Outline: A building acquired as a rickshaw warehouse was renovated and expanded into a one-building, hands-on lodging facility. The extension is located on the south side of the existing building, where a seismically reinforced section with polyhedral openings forms a relationship with the garden. The three-dimensionality of the extension was confirmed in the woodworking shop through mockups, and the space was created with physical sensation.
