Ballet House in Tokyo

- A ballet school and residence in a residential area of Tokyo. The studio is 5,000mm high and looms over the north side of the building. The studio's auxiliary functions and a garage are stacked below the studio, and the residence is stacked above. Plantings are placed in the gaps between the volumes. The curtain wall of the studio was made as transparent as possible in order to let in plenty of natural diffused light and to open the building to the city.
