Outline: A weekend residence in Karuizawa. The rectangular plan with additional thermal insulation is surrounded by a half-indoor terrace and an entrance. The living room is surrounded by rooms in a U-shape, and the fittings can be opened to create a circular flow. The terrace is an area that is receptive to the outside environment. It is directly accessible from the kitchen, making it an outdoor dining area.
