Outline: The building stands in a residential area where spacious farmhouses have been subdivided. the exterior terrace, created by setting back the second floor, allows sight lines and breezes to escape through the opening, making the interior bright and open. by keeping the floor height and story height of the first floor low, the second floor and terrace are kept low, creating a place not too far from the town and not too close to it.
