Outline: The house is located in a suburban residential area dotted with fields. To accommodate the owner's vegetable garden, the northwestern half of the site was used as a vegetable garden, and the southeastern half was used for the house. A large, expansive roof was erected to connect the small scale of the vegetable garden with the large scale of the rice paddies. The large roof creates various places of residence by changing the slope of the roof.
