Outline: Renovation project to make use of idle real estate scattered throughout the city, in collaboration with the Ishiguro Laboratory of Maebashi Institute of Technology, Maebashi City, and several companies. A vacant house was renovated into a shared house and a place for exchange through art. The ceiling and floor were removed from a Japanese-style room that was once used as a living room for elderly women and a tea ceremony room to create a single room with a ceiling height of approximately 3,500mm. The atrium over the expanded metal staircase leading to the loft behind the shed is approximately 7,500mm high.
