Outline: Renovation of a 50-year-old house on Naoshima. No major changes were made to the floor plan, but mainly repairs and adjustments were made to the relationship between rooms. In particular, the light from the top light on the north side of the house, which is located in the water area, fills the house throughout the day, so the position of the walls and fixtures were designed to connect the light with the sight lines and air in the various rooms. The exterior and furnishings will be modified by the client and the architect in the future.
