In the Corners of this House

Outline
The house is built on a steeply sloping woodland slope descending toward the southwest. to avoid bumping into the branches of the surrounding trees, the house was designed as a one-story building with a rectangular plan that would not lose heat easily. the floor level is raised three steps from south to north to match the slope of the site, so that the floor level of the japanese-style room and the chair seat in the dining room are at the same sight line height. each has a line of sight through the kitchen corner, and while the corner is open to the outside, it gives a sense of calm and serenity.
