Outline: Workplace for the owner of a lumber company in the suburbs of iyo city, ehime prefecture. it stands on a small hill beside "miaki hall" (shinkenchiku, 1706), which was built as a showroom and meeting space for the company. in order to adapt to the shape of the site, which is slightly flat and sloping, the building was made to have a symmetrical pentagonal plan with the building jutting out toward the view.
