House in Shugakuin-Rikyu

A private residence built at the foot of a mountain in the shugakuin rikyu area was converted into a house and seminar house. existing aluminum sashes and walls were removed, and bay windows were inserted to match the geese-run shape of the rooms, organically connecting the japanese proportions of the exterior with the western proportions of the interior.
