- The site is located on a plain surrounded by mountain ranges, close to the Kino River and slightly above the water level. In order to prepare for flooding and to take advantage of the rich topography, we created a difference in elevation within the site and placed the main living spaces above the expected flooding level. The longitudinal half of the large gabled volume, bordered by the ridge, is the living room, and the other half is the exterior space consisting only of post and beam structures.
