House in Ajina
Kazunori Fujimoto | Architect & Associates |
- Outline
- The building stands on a slope overlooking Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima to the south. In contrast to the opening on the right side, which has a low ceiling and lets in the view horizontally, the southern wall of the living room and kitchen side overhangs and extends to the east, creating a band of slit-like openings that broaden the sense of verticality.
