Basic House in Tsukuba

Outline: A spacious room. This basic house was designed as part of the Satoyama Jutaku Haku (Satoyama Housing Expo), a limited-time housing exhibition by local construction companies in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The house consists of a two-story building with high insulation performance and an L-shaped shed with a large opening. The openings are fitted with shoji screens to supplement the thermal insulation performance.
