- Built in an area that was severely damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake of 1995, this house was designed to blend in with the surrounding environment and provide a comfortable interior environment in a dense residential area by considering road diagonal restrictions and the slope of the sun's altitude at mid-summer on the winter solstice.
