Outline: The building stands on a site with a mixture of houses and factories. The main living spaces, such as the one-room living and dining rooms and the second-floor living rooms, are gathered in the center of the site. A large garden is located to the south, and a semi-outdoor earthen floor is located to the north, where people can enjoy their lives throughout the four seasons by reinterpreting a place that looks like an enlarged indoor clothes-drying area seen in this region where there is snowfall.
