Weekend Villa in Karuizawa

Outline: This is a villa for spending weekends with friends, located on a site surrounded by the rich nature of former Karuizawa. The roof is made up of four gently twisted roofs over three separate living and sleeping areas, and is the result of a series of 3D studies that resulted in a roof with a tertiary curvature that consists of two bent beams with different curvatures and straight rafters.
