5-Column House
Toshiki Omatsu Atelier
- Outline
- A house for a family of three, with private rooms of various sizes surrounding a central space constructed by four pillars. The openings in the private rooms and the soft light from the corrugated polycarbonate panels fill the space. The polycarbonate corrugated sheets also reveal the insulation, and the ceiling exposes the structural plywood, giving the central space a rougher, more external look.
