- The house is built on a corner lot in a residential area of Kagoshima where the Shirasu plateau spreads out. The interior and exterior walls are made of laminated Shirasu blocks for construction, which were developed for this housing project. The exterior walls are inclined by about 10 degrees, and there is a 140 mm air layer between the interior and exterior walls.
