- In accordance with the owner's wish to preserve a machiya in Kyoto that was being rebuilt, we renovated an 80-year-old machiya into a villa with a gallery. Top lights and a water garden were installed to ensure good lighting. It will also be used as an artist-in-residence during the exhibition.
