Outline
This is the designer's office and residence built on the waterfront near the Naruto Strait. The two-story Hanare on the road side is used as the office and the one-story main house on the waterside as the residence. The photo shows the northeast exterior of Hanare, where the first floor is excavated to a GL of 400mm and the second floor FL is lower than the opening height of the first floor. The entire main house is designed to be able to divide the space freely by using shoji screens and wooden fittings.
