The house stands in a village with a traditional landscape dotted with old farmhouses. Two gable-roofed buildings with smoked tile roofs are combined with the surrounding houses, which are composed of several buildings. The long north-south wing has a wet edge under the large roof, gently drawing the outside into the interior.
