Isurugi House

Outline
The building is located in the urban area of Aichi Prefecture. The roof and walls are sloped to reduce the sense of volume in relation to the city, and to give the building a sculptural presence. In addition, while the first floor is filled with light from the courtyard, the second floor is wrapped in soft light from the windows located in the northeast corner, which are reflected on the ceiling surface to bring in a variety of light.
