- The house is located in a subdivision of four-story villas in the hot spring resort of Yugawara, surrounded by inns and recreational facilities. The volume of the house is reduced to a single-story building, and the site is opened to the public space by adding gardens on three sides, in consideration of the surrounding landscape.
