Fattoria

Outline
Renovation of an old farmhouse. The proportions of the thatched roof of the main house are retained, but the roof is replaced with a galvanized steel sheet flat roof, and the newly lowered eaves are deepened to create a deck and incorporate the rich rural landscape. The adjoining barn is demolished and newly built as a guest room, connected to the house through an earthen floor.
