- In order to secure sunlight in a snowy country, the second floor wall of this house features a "light insulating wall," which is made up of a conventional wooden construction method, a 40mm thick hollow polycarbonate board, moisture-permeable waterproof paper (Tyvek), and an air layer, making the entire wall a light-collecting surface. It is a one-room plan that can be rotated, and the south side of the first floor can be fully opened, and natural ventilation and ventilation can be achieved through the openings on the north side of the second floor through the atrium.
