House at Harinakano
Chitoshi Kihara Architect and Associates
- Outline
- In a part of the newly-built house, the fittings, ceiling boards, famous wood, and railings that were removed from the old Japanese-style house and brought in were reintroduced. In designing the space, we discussed in advance what to reuse from the old house and decided where to use them, and then attempted to design the spatial composition and new fittings.
