- The house is built in the garden of the main house. In order to preserve the original garden, the footprint of the house is made as small as possible, with two layers of overhang from the core, and slit-like openings around the perimeter. The hip wall, ceiling height, and atrium invite the eye to the ground, the town, and the sky.
