House in Ayase

Renovation of an 80 year old Japanese house. The exterior of the house was repaired, while the interior was reinforced against earthquakes by applying structural plywood (OSB) over the Shinkabe walls. The existing veranda and corridor were used as air layers to create a large one-room LDK.
