FUNABORI
Takeshi Komada+Yuka Komada / Komada Architects’office
- Outline
- This house was designed to change the very nature of space itself by maximizing the use of existing elements while adding as few new elements as possible within a tight budget. By removing the ceiling to reveal the shed structure, painting the floors and walls white to remove their original meaning and leave only the outline and texture, and adding a kitchen counter and glass floor to connect the rooms, the way in which everyday objects are seen is shifted.
