HOUSE IN OOKAYAMA

Outline
In order to maximize the volume on the long and narrow site and to avoid the feeling of smallness in the interior space, the entrance and staircase are placed in the center of the house to create a small flow space, and partition walls are eliminated as much as possible. In addition, the windows and structural walls are treated like furniture, and various functions are stacked like large pieces of furniture to create a composition that blurs the boundary between architecture and furniture.
