Outline
The sloping site is enclosed by a square outline, within which three courtyards, each about the same size as the interior, have been inserted. One of the courtyards is adjacent to the living/diving area and the owner's office, and one side of the wall surrounding the courtyard is painted dark purple. The dark purple courtyard, which can be seen from every room, expresses the mental image of the novelist who built the house.
