The renovation of a farmhouse located on Awaji Island. on the first floor, a terrace and LDK are integrated by reducing the size of the water area, which had been extended in the past. on the second floor, a dimly lit area that had been used as a storage room is given a four-round opening to provide light and ventilation. This is one of the many case studies of private house renovation in rural areas.
