House in Hayama

Outline
The site embraces a plum grove and a mountain on the southeast side, and on the southwest side there is a distant view of Mount Fuji and Sagami Bay. The exterior of the house is a one-box shape with a reduced number of components and a simplified form, so that the line of sight passes through the roof line and leads to the mountain behind the house. The space on the second floor, which is the center of the living space, has been transformed into a single room by arranging the partition walls along the climbing beams, and the necessary "flow" and "hangout" are created in one space.
