Black Box-Shibuya H
Takeshi Hirobe Architects
- Outline
- The building stands on a flagpole site in a dense residential area. A black exterior wall surrounds the outside of the house, and a courtyard is built around it. From the front door, one can pass through the alley and enter the dining room and kitchen with a large glass wall in the two-story atrium facing the courtyard. By opening the folding doors, the house becomes one with the outside.
