The museum exhibits remains and historical materials found during excavations related to the asakura clan, which was based in echizen province during the warring states period, and includes the "asakura-kan reproduction exhibition room," which is a reproduction of the residence of the fifth head of the asakura clan, yoshikage asakura, and the "remains exhibition room," which exhibits the stone paving of the port for water transportation that was discovered during design.
