The sewerage bureau building is one of the tokyo torch (tokyo station tokiwa-bashi project) buildings, following tokyo torch tokiwa-bashi tower completed in 2021, and is planned to be constructed and renewed while maintaining the functions of the senbacho pump station, which has been in operation since 1931. the pump station functions will be housed on the third basement floor and three above-ground floors, and administrative functions related to the bureau of sewerage of the tokyo metropolitan government on the fourth through eighth floors.
