The japan pavilion at the dubai international expo to be held in dubai, united arab emirates from october 1, 2021 to march 31, 2022. the pavilion consists of a two-story main building that houses the exhibition, event space, and administrative offices, and a restaurant building (designed by yatsushahar architects). the facade of the main pavilion is a three-dimensional lattice of ptfe mesh membrane.
