It is an incubation facility for entrepreneurs to live and study together for several months, and was constructed as the second building after toberu (1908). the building follows the structure of a machiya (traditional kyoto townhouse) on a deep site, with a central courtyard and eight rooms, meeting spaces, and stairwells on either side of the courtyard, making it impossible to see the vertical flow lines.
